Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza was born from a simple but powerful idea: great pizza deserves great heat. Founded in the heart of South Florida, we brought the ancient tradition of coal-fired baking to modern diners who crave authenticity over shortcuts.

Anthony Mangieri, a passionate pizzaiolo with roots in the Italian-American tradition, opened our first location on Biscayne Blvd with a singular vision — to create pizzas with a perfectly charred crust, vibrant toppings, and flavors that linger long after the last bite.

Today, we remain committed to that original promise: using premium ingredients, burning real anthracite coal at over 800°F, and serving every pizza with the same love and attention that started it all.

2003

The First Flame

Anthony Mangieri lights the first coal oven at 17901 Biscayne Blvd, Aventura. Word spreads quickly about a pizza unlike anything South Florida has tasted before.

2007

Recognition & Growth

Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza earns its first major press feature in the Miami Herald, drawing food lovers from across the state. The waitlist becomes legendary.

2012

Expanding the Menu

We introduce our signature coal-roasted chicken wings and slow-roasted pork, bringing the coal-fire magic to beyond the pizza wheel and delighting a new wave of regulars.

2016

Catering Launch

By popular demand, we launch our full-service catering program, bringing the coal-fired experience to weddings, corporate events, and celebrations across South Florida.
